Fossil Sphere

Unique clam fossil spheres. You will get one of the 69mm /60.5mm / 60.7mm fossilized clam spheres shown in the pictures/video. Each one is unique and displays beautifully. These fossils are estimated to be from the Jurassic Period – 160 million years ago.  Quartz formations are also found in these and create great contrast with the fossilized clams. A must have for anyone’s collection.

This amazing sphere is actually created out of material full of fossils. These Brachiopod shells were preserved in limestone then carved and shaped into this amazing decorative piece. The white shells pop off the rich black grey matrix I stunning fashion. This dramatic piece has a great finish and polish as well as a most unusual pattern akin to a work of modern & contemporary art.
