龙龟，瑞兽一种，主吉祥招财，化三煞。龙龟放在财位可催财，放在三煞位或水气较重之地最有效，风水学有云：“要快发，斗三煞”。水气重之风水位主是非口舌，龙龟在位能化口舌兼加强人缘。龙龟有忍耐、负重、长寿、权威的象征，在众多吉祥之物中，此兽是最为祥瑞之一者。


龙龟的寓意

 相传为古代神龙所生之子，背负河图洛书，揭显天地之数，物物一太极，上通天文，下知地理，中和人世；龟背、龟尾有制煞解厄之效，龙头有赐福之意。故传统的中国五术风水界，一向以来皆以「龙龟」为风水制化的圣品，龙龟摆放家中，有安家、镇宅、避邪、保平安之功效。如果龙头朝向家内，有赐福之意；龟尾、龟背向外，以挡冲煞之气。

"龙龟"有荣归（荣誉归来),<衣锦还乡，荣归故里>之意 ，而且又是仁寿的象征，许多人安置龙龟来化煞，龙龟有吉祥帝座之寓意，亦是中国四大瑞兽之一。龙龟则是龙神和灵龟的化身，它本来是四灵兽之一『玄武』的模式，唐代逐渐脱离『玄武』之形。

 

相传龙生九子不成龙，其中一子头似龙，形似龟，在民间称之为龙龟。龙龟有神灵大龟之称，寓意为世人挡灾煞，减祸害。同样具长寿吉祥，镇煞迎福的喻意。其力量除了制伏太岁，岁破及种种有形之煞气外，也可广纳『正财』福禄。龙龟在化煞方面既有龙的威武刚强，亦有龟的忍辱负重阴柔，是化煞的最佳物品。在屋内悬挂龟壳或龙龟等物品，只要对准冲射入来的尖角，便可收化解之效。家中有官非、是非、犯小人、资不抵债，财运衰弱等问题，宜摆放龙龟在大厅中，化解凶气，亦可当作镇宅兴家之用。龟会吸收天地山川的灵气，所以特别长寿。因此，在老人家的睡房里摆放龟形的装饰品来象征健康长寿，有镇宅的作用。龙龟也有聚生气之作用，可旺人丁。
