It mixes the deep masculine notes of its base with brighter, sweeter notes throughout to develop a nicely balanced scent on the whole. Top notes of bergamot, citron as well as pink grapefruit produce a refreshing, succulent splash of citrus, with a slightly bitter edge. The heart notes have a floral, woody tinge that offsets the earlier brightness. The base notes are a cozy, woody surface to this aroma. Patchouli and also cedarwood include some spiciness with a solidly woody tone, for a forest-like, natural drydown.
