The Quick Release Plate is a replacement camera plate that fits the Arca-type quick-release element ball heads. For camera stability, the top of the plate features a rubberized surface. Two studs on the bottom of the plate help prevent the camera and plate from sliding all the way forward or backward out of the ball head, in case the head's clamp is inadvertently left loose. The Universal 1/4 inch Camera Mounting Screw fits most cameras and camcorders (and cell phone tripod adapters, sold separately). QR plates attach to the tripod mount on your camera and allow you to quickly and easily attach and detach your camera or device from a compatible tripod head.
