冷 制 手 工 皂 :
所有的冷制皂都会在皂化的过程中自然产生一定量的甘油，它是皮肤最佳的天然保湿剂，在皮肤上形成一层天然的保护膜。
问题 : 用氢氧化钠做皂不会伤害皮肤吗？
答案是 : 不会的。
因为制皂一定需要碱性物质，古代人利用木灰沐中的碱性物质，现在则使用取自海盐成分的氢氧化钠。纯氢氧化钠为强碱，会很伤害皮肤的，但是和油脂及水一起皂化后就不再是氢氧化钠，而是皂和甘油了。
用冷制法做出来的皂必需放置一至两个月的时间后才能使用，这叫晾熟。配方的不同，会影响成熟的时间，完全皂化的香皂，不再含有氢氧化钠，所以不会伤害皮肤。
