What makes this product unique?

Polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) are celebrated as the cutting-edge, gentle version of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). PHAs are AHAs comprising of multiple hydroxyl groups. The variance in molecular structure denotes that PHAs have larger molecular sizes to penetrate skin at a slower rate, resulting in less potential for irritation.

Garden of Wisdom PHA Plus Serum intelligently includes 8% gluconolactone and 2% lactobionic acid, both of which are the most popular PHAs with multiple studies showing they are excellent humectants (with ability to draw moisture and ensure healthy hydration levels within skin) and gentle exfoliating agents. PHAs scavenge oxidative stress by chelating the iron in skin, which is the causal factor of aging.

The new exfoliating star, phytic acid, deactivates tyrosinase to reduce the formation of spots and return skin a healthy radiance. Together, this formulation dissolves the bonds that bind dead cells to stimulate a variety of physiological responses that keep skin firm and youthful.
