Scientific Name：Phyllanthus urinaria L.

English Name：Chamber bitter，gripeweed，leafflower，night-closing leaf，underleaf pearl.

Malay Name：Dukung anak

Family & Genus：Euphorbiaceae，Phyllanthus.

Pharmacology：Hepatic-protective & anti-bacterial.

Properties：Sweet，bitter taste. Cooling. 

Benefits：Clear heat & remove toxin，induce diuresis & relieve swelling，soothing liver & brighten eyes，relieve indigestion.

Preparation：

·1 sachets tea bag each time. One or twice daily. 

·Steep a tea bag in 200ml boiled water for 10 minutes. 

·Each tea bag may rebrewed 2-3 times，or until light taste.


**Red and white dysentery is relatively deeper and more serious than dysentery. It is caused by summerheat and damp heat fermenting within the intestines. The intestines wall putrefies and decays. Pus and blood are precipitated and this results in red and white dysentery.

药理作用：保肝，抗菌。

性味：味甘，苦；性凉。

功能：清热解毒，利水消肿，平肝明目，消疳积。

适用于：

·肝炎

·黄疸

·夜盲

·口疮

·痈肿

·赤白痢

·肠炎腹泻 

·肾炎水肿

·眼结膜炎

·目赤肿痛

·小儿疳积

·泌尿系感染

·热淋石淋（尿路结石）

*脾胃虚寒者慎服。


用法：

·每次一包茶袋，每日1包～2包。

·将茶袋浸泡于200毫升沸水，10分钟后即可饮用。

·每个茶袋可重复冲泡2-3次，或直至淡味为止。
