Make sure you already have the Mykad or Mykid Reader software that uses PC/SC protocol such as Admire RFID Mykad Mykid Reader or Admire RFID Visitor Management System (VMS) or AutoCount POS or IRS POS and so on.

As long as your software uses PS/SC protocol to connect to Mykad Reader to read the Mykad information, then this device is suitable for your software. Install the provided driver, your software can detect this device as valid Mykad Reader and works with it. As simple as that. The only condition is; your software must use Windows PC/SC protocol for device connection and communication.
