Brand Story - Papillon was found by Chai Vivan in year 2012. The company started as a small fashion jewellery business but slowly shifted its direction to focus on designing women’s clutches. Vivan sees how a well-designed clutch bag can change the appearance of a woman, as it can flatter a woman’s body shape, and makes her look elegant. She noticed that most women in many Asian countries still do not have the habit of carrying a clutch bag to attend evening occasions. She hopes by bringing in clutch bags that can be easily matched, spacious enough to put what is necessary, and with an affordable price, it will gradually expand the culture of clutch bags for women. The goal of established Papillon is to beautify women with a piece of fashion accessories, yet remain the personality of oneself,said Vivan.

Design - All of the Papillon clutches were designed by the founder Chai Vivan with her relentless pursuit with new ideas. She is always inspired by her own passion in performing art and dance.The constant innovate and experimentation are at the heart of Papillon Clutch, dare to explore new designs - the shape, the fabric and the color for the clutches. Material selection is our first priority as it is the fundamental of delivering elegance and uniqueness for women.

Manufacturing - It took us 2 years to find the right manufacturers and along of the way we have rejected several manufacturers that could not reach the standard and quality of products. Despite we have been partnered with top-of-the-line factory, we are regularly spending time to monitoring the craftsmanship and quality of the products

Packaging - Papillon clutches are safely packed with durable corrugated box that prepared for international shipping. The box design is in RELF (Roll End Lock Front with Dust Flaps), which is one of the most secure closures for a corrugated box without using tape or sticker. The packaging box also printed with Papillon Logo on the front part of the box. The first impression is crucial as it creates a significant unboxing experience for our customers.
