Brief Review of Artisan EDT Cologne (Minyak Wangi, 香水) for Men by John Varvatos


Artisan EDT Cologne for Men by John Varvatos is a Citrus Aromatic scent for men. After classic concept of its antecedent the 3rd masculine scent, Artisan, existed on the market in March 2009. It is constructed as a citrusy-herbal scent which reveals spring and fresh air created by John Varvatos and Rodrigo Flores-Roux of Givaudan, who dealt with other Varvatos' editions. The fragrance opens with Sicilian clementine, tangelo fruit, Mexican tangerine, fragrant thyme, Spanish marjoram and Greek lavender. A heart adds North African orange bloom, Indian plant Murraya, combination of jasmine and orange, an active ingredient used in development of the very first fragrance. There are 3 sorts of ginger: Nigerian, Chinese and "purple ginger" developed in Givaudan lab. A base encompasses Kephalis wood and Geaorgewood, along with amber-like Belleambre and musky Serenolide. Its flacon was developed by Jon Cisler Design, and it shaped it comparable to its antecedents.
