Azzaro is a couture and fragrance brand name established by Tunisian-born Loris Azzaro, who is of Italian descent. He founded the brand name in 1967 with the concept of creating intense, fluid, and shimmering gowns. The first shop opened in Paris, France, a year later. The fragrance line released in 1975, starting with women's fragrances and adding men's scents in 1978.
