New technology HYDROCHARGE is patented trademark by Medicos. It allows to achieve the highest filtration efficiency and safety performance whilst providing maximum breathability and comfort by embedding water electret (electrostatic) charge on Medicos Sub Micron Meltblown Filter. Compared with traditional method of using corona thermal process, Medicos HydroCharged meltblown filter is 3 times more evenly satured and assured to be permanent. 


Electrostatic properties on the surface of meltblown filter helps to trap aerosolized particles via electrostatic attraction. Electret process creates friction and hence generates static electricity which is the reason why it allow high performance face masks to filter and trap particles as small as 0.1 microns. 


This allows for MEDICOS HydroCharge to optimize its filtration efficiency using lower basic weight (thinner) materials. Hence, it ia able to decrease air resistance (whichh can improve breathability) by 30% (and up to 70%) compared with the traditional commonly used meltblown produced wih corona thermal electrostatic electret.
