Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating is the latest sophisticated chemistry that essentially combines the best attributes of a traditional ceramic paint coating with the advantages of our Hybrid Polysiloxane chemistry. The result is our easiest, most chemical resistant, durable, and slickest paint protection solution to date! Our TrueCure Cross-Linking Technology allows the product to bond to itself and to paint for extreme durability against environmental and chemical contaminants. This pro-level protectant creates a slick surface, hydrophobic water-beading action for easier washing and drying, and long-term durability providing over a year of durable protection*. Now anyone and everyone can enjoy the benefits of a ceramic coating without the high cost! *Up to 1 Year+ Paint Protection based on water contact angle lab testing and predictive modeling. For the best results with Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating, start with a freshly washed vehicle. Always use a pH balanced car wash soap like Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner. Next, run your clean, dry fingertips over the paint. If the paint feels rough to the touch, this indicates that you have bonded contaminants on top of your paint. These are things like tree sap mist, industrial fallout, road tar, and paint overspray. Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit comes with everything you need to safely remove contaminants bonded on the paint and leave it as smooth as glass. Finally, evaluate the paint for below surface defects. If you have light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, or etchings you would want to use a product like Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound. From there, follow with a polish like Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish for maximum shine before applying your protectant. Applying Hybrid Paint Coating: - Do not apply below 60° F. - Wash & dry the vehicle. For optimal results, decontaminate & correct paint, if needed. Add gloss with a polish, if desired. - Avoid moisture on the vehicle for at least 24 hours after application & avoid chemicals/washing for 7 days until the coating has cured. - Spray M122 Surface Prep onto one panel at a time. Let dwell for 1 minute & wipe off with a microfiber. Repeat over the entire vehicle. - Spray Hybrid Paint Coating onto applicator for 3 seconds for an even coat. Place pad face down on the paint and spread in a crosshatch pattern with 50% overlapping passes to ensure complete, even coverage in a 2” x 2” section. - ---- Repeat process to cover one panel at a time. - After applying to the entire panel, immediately remove using a microfiber towel folded into 1/8ths. Remove excess product using small circular motions. Flip to a clean side of the towel for a final wipe. - Always work on a cool/dry surface. - Not recommended for glass or windows.
