Science education is the teaching and learning such as to school children, college students, or adults within the public. Science is a compulsory subject which is taught from preschool until upper secondary school in Malaysia.
This has raised the concern among the community as the students have low performance in science subject, lacking of interest in learning Science and fail to classify, synthesis and evaluate information.
This book highlights implementing learning styles in teaching and learning using Personalized Learning Environment (PLE) approach. Learning styles are among the concepts that are postulated by to show learners’ differences and varied needs such as either Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic.
PLE is one of the learning approaches that help learners take control of and manage their own learning towards flexible and adaptive in responding to the diverse needs and interests of students.
Facilitating students with Information Communication and Technology (ICT) can improve their performance significantly. Learning styles are important components in a learning environment. Therefore, the implementation on learning styles in teaching and learning science through personalized learning will emphasis student understanding especially in 21th century learning.
