Q1: What is Mandelic Acid?

Mandelic acid is a mild lipophilic multipurpose alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. It is gentle on the skin. Due to its larger molecular size, it is absorbed at a slower rate than glycolic acid hence it cause less irritation to the skin.
