L'eau D'issey (Issey Miyake) EDP Perfume for Women by Issey Miyake, L'Eau D'Issey (issey Miyake) was launched in 1992 and was the very first fragrance to be presented by the brand. French for 'Issey's water', the aroma is fresh and womanly and is ideal for every-day wear. The fragrance opens with flowery and marine leading notes of cyclamen, lotus, rose water and freesia. The floral sensation continues with heart notes of white lily, carnation and peony. The base notes consist of sandalwood, musk, tuberose, amber seed, cedarwood and osmanthus. Born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1938, Issey Miyake studied graphic style in his home country. After university, he transferred to Paris and New York, where he would deal with some of the top designers, consisting of Givenchy and Guy Laroche. In 1970, he returned to Tokyo and launched his own label, called after himself. Beginning with women's fashion, the brand ended up being understood for utilizing ingenious Japanese technology to create its clothing and bring the East and West together through style.
