Care should be exercised when using adhesive products around a flush urostomy especially when associated with megaureters and the absence of a urinary reservoir. Rarely ,clinical report have been documented of the presence of adhesive in the renal collecting system of these patients. Should a mass be detected in the urinary tract , evalute the continue use of the adhesive product and initiate appropriate clinical management.

The SUR-FIT Plus®ostomy system is a comprehensive product line with our latest skin barrier technologies.

The plastic coupling ring allows the pouch and skin barrier to snap together for audible security.

Stomahesive®skin barriers are ideal for people whose stoma output is semi-formed to formed.

This reliable skin barrier provides a unique formula that enables the skin barrier to adhere to both dry and moist skin.

It is gentle on skin yet holds firmly.

DIRECTION FOR USE :

WAFER PREPARATION : The peritomal skin must be clean, dry and free from any solvent or greasy substances.

Select a wafer with a flange that is t least 1/2 in. 13mm larger than the widest diameter of the stoma.

Trace the exact stoma outline onto wafer release paper.

Cut outside the tracing leaving at least 1/4 in. (7mm) of skin barrier between the enlarged starter hole and the flange. Run your finger inside of he ole along cut edge to smooth any sharp edges. Be sure that release paper is still backing the adhesive mass. Remove release paper.

For wafers with precut stoma openings, select a wafer with a precut stoma opening the same size as the largest diameter of the stoma. Do not enlarge the precut stoma opening. Remove release paper.
