1. There is a strong smell even for the first usage. Is it normal?

If it is new, there is a possibility of some smells due to the motor running and motor becoming hot but not for long. If the customer has concerns about the smell, let the fan run for about 4 hours while monitoring the smell. After 4 hours, the fan should be in steady condition and not have anymore smells.
