Gaviscon Heartburn & Acid Relief Liquid 10ml This medication is used to treat the symptoms of too much stomach acid such as stomach upset, heartburn, and acid indigestion. Aluminum and magnesium antacids work quickly to lower the acid in the stomach. Liquid antacids usually work faster/better than tablets or capsules. USES Relieves: Heartburn Sour Stomach Acid Indigestion Upset stomach associated with these symptoms DIRECTIONS Shake well before use. Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 sachets after meals and at bedtime. Children 6-12 years old: 1/2-1 sachet after meals and at bedtime. Children under 6 years: Seek your doctor's advice. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. WARNINGS Do not use if you have kidney disease. ASK A DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST BEFORE USE IF YOU ARE Presently taking a prescription drug.If you are on a sodium-restricted diet.Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT: Do not take more than 8 tablespoonfuls of Regular Strength or 16 teaspoonfuls of Extra Strength in 24 hours. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Laxative effect may occur. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
