Scavon Vet

Topical antimicrobial for wounds

Action:

Antibacterial: Scavon’s bactericidal action controls infections. 

Antifungal: The spray’s antifungal property is responsible for the effectively treats and also prevents the recurrence of fungal infections.

Wound healing: Scavon promotes collagenization (the replacement of tissues or fibrin by collagen) and epithelialization (the formation of the epithelium over the skin’s surface). It is effective in treating a variety of wounds such as abrasions, cuts, lacerations and incisions.

Indications:

  • Infective and noninfective wounds.
  • Maggot wounds.
  • Pruritis.
  • Surgical wounds.
  • Sarcoptic and psoroptic mange.
  • Dermatomycosis

Key ingredients:

Cream: 

Holy Basil (Tulasi) contains a volatile oil that is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. A poultice made from the leaves is a potent remedy for skin healing.

Zinc (Yashad Bhasma) plays an important role in wound healing. Possessing antiseptic and astringent properties, it has a beneficial effect on superficial cuts and bruises.

Spray: 

Neem (Nimba) is an antibacterial and antifungal agent that relieves itching, redness and irritation caused by wounds.

Turmeric (Haridra) is an antiseptic agent that effectively promotes wound healing. 

Directions for use :

Cream: Clean the affected part after clipping hairs and apply Scavon Vet Cream liberally once or twice daily until completely healed, or as directed by the veterinarian.

Spray: Clean the affected area after clipping hairs and spray the required quantity twice daily, or as directed by the veterinarian.
