Indication:
It thins bronchial secretions (mucus) and makes them easier to cough up (expectorate). Non drowsy cough formula.
Active ingredient: 1 measuring cup (15 ml) contains 750 mg of carbocisteine.
Directions for use:
For use in adults (over 15 years of age) only: 1 measuring cup morning,midday and evening, without food and without exceeding 3 measuring cups per day. (1 measuring cup = 15 ml =750 mg of carbocisteine). Oral Use.
How long to use it: Duration of treatment should be brief. Do not exceed 5 days of treatment without medical advice.


RHINATHIOL 2% CHILDREN SYRUP (RASPBERRY & CHERRY FLAVOUR);

Indication: It thins bronchial secretions (mucus) and makes them easier to cough up (expectorate). Non drowsy cough formula.
Active ingredient: One 5 ml measuring spoon contains 100 mg of carbocisteine.
Directions for use:
Oral Use.
Children aged 2 to 5 years: The usual dose is one 5 ml measuring spoon 2 times a day.
Children aged over 5 years: The usual dose is one 5 ml measuring spoon 3 times a day.
How long to use it: Do not use for more than 8 to 10 days. Talk to your doctor if symptoms worsen or persist after 10 days of treatment.


Precautions:
Rhinathiol contains sodium, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), cochineal red A (E124) and sucrose:
This should be taken into account if you are on a no-sodium or low-sodium diet. These can cause allergic reactions. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucraseisomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.
