Product Description:
CrystalBond-C3 is a high performance waterproofing sealer and densifiers that deeply penetrates the concrete and masonry. Its designated purpose is to prevent water and moisture intrusions. With its proprietary reactive agent and through the usage of the most up-to-date nanotechnology, CrystalBond-C3 has smaller molecular structure that enables the product to deeply penetrate the substrate of the concrete, forming an insoluble crystalline structure and filling the pores and capillaries within the concrete and thereby, increasing the density of the concrete. Meanwhile, it changes the surface’s tension, creating a hydrophobic surface, sealing the concrete inside out. During the process of drying the Product, CrystalBond-C3 has an invisible and colourless appearance. Hence, the appearance of the concrete remains to be the same and natural. The application of CrystalBond-C3 creates a layer of effective barrier which prevents surface erosion and water absorption, putting an end to water and moisture erosion.

Uses:

CrystalBond-C3 recommended uses such as sealing of concrete, cement surfaces, decorative architecture finish, natural stone, unpolished granite, marble, sandstone, also be used in residential applications such as bathroom's tiles grout, unglazed ceramic tile, balcony, patios, decks, driveways, pathway and walls.

Surface preparation:

All surfaces should be cleaned before sealing for best penetration and performance. Clean all dust, debris and loose material. Remove oil, grease, algae, grime, mill glaze and mold and mildew stains with appropriate cleaners. After cleaning, test absorbance of surface by sprinkling a few drops of water on the surface. If the water does not readily penetrate the surface, stripping will be necessary to remove old coatings prior to apply.

Application:

Two wet-on-wet coats are needed to ensure complete coverage. Apply with a roler, brushor low pressure non-atomizing sprayer. Apply in an uniformed manner not exceeding thesubstrates absorption rate and let the first coat penetrate for 5 - 10 minutes then re-applya second coat in the same manner. Do not over apply (over application may result inwhitening of the surface).

Coverage:

5m²/litre for rough surface / 7m²/litre for smooth surface

Dry Time:
Typical drying time is 4 - 6 hours at 20 - 35°C relative humidity. Cooler temperature orhigher relative humidity can extend the drying time. Treated surfaces will be ready forpedestrian and vehicle traffic within 24 hours. Water repellency will continue to developwithin 7 days of application.

Clean Up:

Clean equipment and tools with tap soapy water.

Storage & Shelf Life:

CrystalBond-C3 has a shelf life of 2 years for unopened containers. Store at temperature5 °C - 30 °C.

Test Method:

BS 1881: Part 208, BS 1881: Part 122

Limitation:

Do not apply to glass, aluminium, porcelain, enamel, asphaltic, and enamel products. Do not apply on painted surfaces. Over-coating with water-based paints or sealer is not recommended.
