KW208 12V Car Battery Tester

KONNWEI KW208 12V car battery tester is able to effectively analyze and read important car data such as voltage, internal resistance, cold cranking amp and AH capacity, battery health and charge status. It provides accurate results, calculates the cold cranking capability of the battery and the aging extent, allowing for a quicker, more precise car repairing.

It provides techs or DTYer with a quick, simple and cost-effective solution to know the battery's charging status better , check the battery's health and detect faults.

Battery Testing

  • SOC (state of charge): refers to the state of charge of the battery, which mainly describes how much power is left in the battery;If the battery runs out, it will display 0%
  • SOH (state of health) :refers to the state of health of the battery, mainly describing the degree of battery aging.

Charging Test

Charging test is used to check and analyze the charging system (generator, rectifier, rectifier diode, etc.) status, displays load voltage, unloaded voltage, ripple status, charging system status, thus to find out whether the output voltage of the generator is normal, the rectifier diode works properly or not, which avoids damaging the battery and shortening its life greatly due to overcharging or incomplete charging.

Cranking Test

The cranking test is used to test and analyze the actual required cranking current and cranking voltage to check the starting motor works properly or not. The test result displays cranking time, voltage, and status. If the stating malfunction may cause an increased starting loaded torque; or rotor friction of the starting motor generates increasing friction of the starting motor itself.

Four Test Operation Steps of KW208 Car Battery Tester

  • Step 1. Connect the 12V battery, red clips to positive pole and black clips to negative pole.
  • Step 2. Battery Test: Firstly select the type of battery to be tested, then the test criteria and the test range, and then you have the results within few seconds.
  • Step 3. Cranking Test: After selecting the cranking test function, follow the prompts to start the engine. Test completed.
  • Step 4. Charging Test: After entering the charging test function, follow the prompt to increase the speed to 2500 RPM for 5 seconds, then press OK. Test completed.
