Noritake was founded in 1904 as the Japanese Pottery Hopper Company (the predecessor of Noritake), and in 1932 Noritake began researching and manufacturing bone china, becoming the first manufacturer of bone china tableware in Japan, specialising in gilding work and fine bone china. With its long history of design inspiration and technical excellence, Zetubu offers a wide range of hand-crafted works of art that have been described as "jewellery for the table".
There are tens of millions of different types of Zebu porcelain, each with a production number, including the classic Hanasarasa series, the Blue Sorrentino series and the Orchard Garden rustic style, which has been available since 1988.
