· Miraculous ability to close cuts and wounds
· Capable of replacing sutures and bandages
· Puts a stop to uncontrolled bleeding instantly
· Amplifies the immune system’s healing power
· Indispensable tool in your family first aid kit (for both people and pets!)
This is the first of a number of dual-use products that we will be introducing – “dual-use” as in products that can be used on you or your pet. Do a quick search and you will see that most regular Americans actually used the 3M Vetbond on their own wounds!!
3M is, of course, the multinational corporation known for innovative products, including the world’s most recommended face masks and PPE. Vetbond is arguably even more innovative and effective.
The 3M Vetbond is so effective that it can prevent you or your pet from having to go to the hospital for suturing up a rather nasty cut. In the process, it will help the cut or wound to heal much quicker. The little bottle (3ml or 1oz) is also tiny and won’t take up much room in your first aid kit at all.
It is also amazingly effective at stopping bleeding. Just spread the liquid over the area of uncontrolled bleeding and it will staunch the oozing blood instantly.
Our highest recommendation! With that said, Vetbond is a product that you will want to do a little research about before buying, so we won’t make you read too much here.
Does it expire?
Not really. There’s nothing on the unit or the packaging that says “expires” or “expiration date” or any of the sort. This is a glue in a hermetically sealed container. We are still using the same bottle from 4 years ago.
What about the serial number (SN)?
The serial number starts in a year format. These are the latest “202411xx” or later - "202411xx" denotes a production date of Sept/Oct 2023, "202501xx" means made in Nov/Dec 2023, and so forth.
We’ve had to pay more to source the latest as a good number of customers demand it. We plan on making available some older Vetbond at a lower cost in the future – please check variations for the SN.
How long does it last?
It’s tiny but then, only a tiny amount is needed at a time. As stated earlier, we’re still using the same container of Vetbond from 4 years ago (and we have 8 rambunctious retrievers). However, perhaps needless to say, it probably won’t last as long if you use it in a veterinary practice.
