Kraken Black Spiced Rum (50ml) is distilled in pot stills on the Virgin Islands and fermented from naturally sweet molasses made from sugarcane grown on nearby riverbanks. Natural yeasts are used to ferment the water thinned molasses, which is converted directly into alcohol. Kraken Rum is then aged in oak barrels between 12 and 24 months before being blended with over 11 spices,including vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and clove. The Kraken Rum takes its name from the mythical sea beast which, as legend has it, attacked tall ships throughout history. It is beautifully presented in a classic shaped bottle with two handles, a replica of a Victorian Rum bottles of old.
