  • This DelGuard Type Lx pencil features a smooth metal grip section, giving the pencil a low center of gravity for a comfortable, stable writing experience.
  • Never worry about lead breaking again! The DelGuard utilizes an ingenious two-part system that makes it virtually impossible to break the lead.
  • First, a spring in the barrel of the pencil lets the lead slide back into the pencil instead of breaking if too much vertical pressure is applied.
  • Second, another spring in the tip dynamically extends the lead guard to protect the lead when too much sideways pressure is applied. It may sound complicated, but it really works!
  • And without the annoyance and interruption of breaking leads, you'll find your concentration greatly improving.
  • Delguard system installed - Protect the core from all directions
  • Vertical Force : 1. Upper spring absorbs writing pressure / 2. Prevents breaking by escaping the core upward
  • Diagonal Force: 1. Lower spring absorbs writing pressure / 2. Tip jumps out and guards core
  • Delguard protects up to the lead protruded by 4 times of press. If more than 4 times of press, the lead might subject to breakage.
