Stoneware- Stoneware clay is very strong. It is fully vitrified(the surface is made glassy and non-porous) which gives it strength,durabilityand chip resistance. Coloured wares tend to use stoneware whichmakes itsproducts very colourful and versatile.- Similar in strength tostoneware,porcelain has a more translucent body and is naturally a blue-grey white. Itsglossiness allows the body colour of white appears pristine. Whenenhance withpatterns and gold rim, it has been a collectors’ items forcenturies.

Bone Chinaware- Bone China by has all the elegance of china withall the long-lasting toughness of. It is elegant and refined but also tough,useable and chip-resistant. It has a body colour of light creamy and they aretranslucent. Due to the strength of the material, the wares are usually verythin and light which makes them a pleasure to own.

General Care- All pottery and ceramic wares can crack if exposedto sudden changes in temperature, no matter on the oven or microwave,or exposeto direct heat sources such as the hob or grill. Pieces must not be dropped orstruck against hard or sharp surfaces, or struck with hard or sharp object.

Dishwashers- We recommend hand washing but if you prefertouse dishwashers, please use low temperature and liquid detergents for all ourtablewares and glasswares as constant dishwashing may result in discoloration ofsome products. When washing by hand avoid the use of scouring pads or abrasivecleansers. Clean with a soft cloth. ? Most stains can be removed by soaking theitem in warm water before washing. Very stubborn stains can be removed bysoaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour.

Microwave Ovens

Storing- Even the hardest surfaces can be scratched:This canhappen to all ceramic goods including your products. So please takecare whenstacking and handling your ceramic wares as scratches can be more visible oncoloured glazes. When storing plates, try not to slide them over one another,as this may cause scratches on the glaze. The surface used on tableware ishard, however the front of one plate can be scratched by the back of another,so care should be taken when stacking. We recommend that a paper napkin beplaced between each plate. Cups should be stored or hung from a cup hook, notstacked, as this weakens the handles
