Instructions

1. Press the ON / OFF power switch. The screen starts to display. Enter the normal mode. Remove the protective cap and put the solution to be measured. The solution height should not exceed the instrument immersion line. Read the correct measured value after the value is stable



2. Tap the MODE / CAL button, the screen will display different modes, the unit of TDS mode is PPM or PPT, the unit of conductivity mode is us or MS, the unit of salinity mode (SALT) is%, and the specific gravity mode of seawater is S.G



3. Press the HOLD / TEMP button lightly. H appears in the upper left corner of the screen. At this time, the screen measurement value is locked. Take out the test solution

4. Read the measured value and tap HOLD / TEMP again to exit the lock mode

Press and hold HOLD / TEMP to switch between screen ℃ and ° F



Instrument calibration

1. Calibration is required after long-term use. Put the instrument in a standard solution, enter TDS / EC mode, press and hold the MODE / CAL button for four seconds, then release the button, the instrument will enter the automatic calibration state, and the corresponding value will appear on the screen. Blink, press △ HOLD / TEMP during the flashing; ▽ MODE / CAL add or subtract the value, calibrate to the value of the standard solution, the calibration is completed after three flashes



Precautions

1. This instrument has been calibrated at the factory and can be used directly

2. After using the instrument, clean it with water, put on a protective cap, and keep it dry during storage

3. During the test, shake it a few times to ensure that there are no air bubbles near the electrode.

4. Do not disassemble the instrument without permission, so as not to damage the instrument

5. During use, do not get the instrument wet or enter the water.

FAQ

No display on / off ？

1. The battery is not installed or the battery power is low or the positive and negative poles of the battery are reversed.

2. The button is not pressed correctly

Solution:

1. Unplug the battery compartment, reinstall the battery or replace it with a new battery

2. Check if the battery is installed correctly

3. All of the above have been re-checked, but can not be turned on, please return to the factory or agent

Incorrect reading value:

1. Bubbles around the electrode will affect the reading. Please check the bubbles around the electrode and quickly blow out the bubbles in the solution.

2. The concentration of the solution is not uniform, causing unstable reading

3. The product is not put deep enough into the solution, which will cause the reading to be unstable.

4. The electrode has damaged the ring

5. Interference from the measurement environment



Note:Error code prompt: When -1 appears, the measurement is out of range

This instrument can be calibrated with a standard calibration solution, 1413us/cm /12.88ms/cm /84us/cm. The instrument has been calibrated at the factory.
