Q: Is this cable compatible with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)?
A:?Please check your car's charging inlet to see if it is Type 2 (Mennekes, 7 Pins) or CCS 2 (7 Pins + 2 Pins). Our cable is compatible with BEV and PHEV with Type 2 and CCS2 charging inlets.
Our cable is NOT compatible with Type 1, CCS 1, CHAdeMO, and GB/T charging inlets.
Q: Can it be used for a DC rapid charge?
A: No.?Our type 2 cable is designated to work with AC fast charging and should not be used for DC rapid charging. DC charging requires different charging interface and cable.
Q: Does the cable come with quality certification?
A: Yes.?Our Type 2 charging cables are TUV, CE and UKCA compliant. These are the most stringent certification requirements in Europe and UK. Ensuring top quality is our priority.
Q: Can the cable be used as an extension cable for my home charging station?
A: No. For safety reasons, signal protocol setup for the cable does not permit use as an extension cable.
