This is the adapter for using M42 manual focus lenses on Sony NEX or A7-series E-mount Cameras' body by manual focusing under manual exposure control or by using aperture-priority AE.

It allows E-Mount user to use M42 mount lenses from various brands and macro accessories on Canon EOS cameras. Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.
