Knowledge Lesson
Dear users, do you know that the most crucial thing to clean contact lenses is to get rid of tear proteins?
As we all know, contact lenses need to be disinfected and sterilized, but in fact, the biggest pollutant of contact lenses is the tear protein secreted by our eyes. Tear proteins not only precipitate on the lenses, blocking the oxygen permeability holes and decreasing the oxygen permeability of the lenses, but they are also a breeding ground for bacteria and microorganisms. Therefore, as a Class III medical device, contact lenses are clearly labeled in the instruction manual with the words "daily cleaning and sterilization are recommended, and the protein should be removed every seven days".
