Lactoferrin, an innate defense iron-binding protein naturally found in cow’s milk, possesses multiple health benefits such as having a powerful antimicrobial activity, regulating the release of cytokines in inflammatory areas, activating immune cells and inhibiting inflammatory diseases caused by non-pathogenic bacteria. Proferrin?
