How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each of the pockets with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.

1 - Loosen all straps (shoulder straps, waist strap, load adjusters) 2 - Put the backpack on 3 - Tighten the shoulder strap straps 4 - Adjust the load adjuster straps to suit
How to pack your backpack
Put your heavier items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece close to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder will be placed in the compartment provided along the back, and the water bottle in the outer water pockets provided for this purpose.
Laboratory tested
We conduct lab tests to validate the following components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test its resistance to wear, tearing, washing, water-resistance and colour-fastness under UV rays. We also carry out tests to check the resistance of assemblies by carrying out accelerated reproductions of the wear and tear on a bag over the years on a mannequin that reproduces the movement of a hiker.

Thanks to all your feedback, we have improved the design and concept of the NH100 20 L backpack. On this new model, we have improved the main zip to facilitate opening. We also added a compartment and a zipped section in the main pocket.

We recommend that you store your backpack in a dry place.

Our design team conceives, designs and creates all of our Quechua products at the foot of Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, all the way to Reunion Island, we go to as many places, on as many trails, as possible, in all weather.
