Note: How to maintain an iron pan!
1. Wash the entire pan with clean water. Wipe every corner with a soft cloth to remove debris and dust from the casting process. Do not use any detergent.
2. Turn the heat to the minimum and slowly dry all the water droplets in the pan.
3. Keep the heat low, find a piece of fatter pork belly or fat (cooking oil/butter is also OK), and rotate it in the pan to smear the entire inside of the pan. This process should last at least 3-5 minutes until the fat is burnt and the pan fully absorbs the grease.
4. Turn off the heat, cool the pan, and simply rinse it with cold water. Do not use any detergent.
5. Put the pan on the fire again, turn on a low heat and use pig skin with lard to wipe the entire inside of the pan, so that the iron pan forms an oil film, isolates the air, and prevents sticking. After wiping, you can also wipe the outside of the pan.
6. In addition, there are other ways to open the pan by burning the iron pan, polishing it with salt, and lubricating it with vegetable oil.
7. Daily maintenance is also very important, such as washing and drying the pan with clean water and drying it with low heat before using it each time. Usually use a little cooking oil to maintain the pot; avoid empty burning/dry burning/high fire, and do not store food or water in an empty pot for a long time, so as to extend the service life of the pot.
