Non stick pan tips
① Is the thickness of the pot important?
Very important, especially for families.
The chef's mastery of cooking is impeccable, but most people do not.
The thinner the pot, the more difficult it is to control the heat, because the heat transfer speed is too fast, the temperature is too fast to control, it is easy to burn the pot, and it affects the taste and nutritional value of the ingredients.
But the pot should not be too thick. If it is too thick, the heat transfer will be too slow and it will also be heavier. The best range is between 1.5mm and 2mm.
② Is an iron pot or an aluminum pot better?
Aluminum pot is lightweight, but it must be coated. If the process and quality are well controlled, it will be healthy and harmless.
The iron pot is heavy and has a density three times that of aluminum, but does not require coating and requires regular maintenance, otherwise it is prone to rust and is toxic.
It is not recommended to use iron as the raw material for non stick pots, as iron is difficult to make thick. Iron pots of the same thickness weigh 3kg, so manufacturers can only make thin iron pots. However, if this is the case, coating the iron pot can easily damage the coating due to high temperature.
On the market, most ordinary coatings have a heat resistance of 280 ℃.
