Stoneware- Stoneware clay is very strong. It is fullyvitrified(the surface is made glassy and non-porous) which gives itstrength,durability and chip resistance. Coloured wares tend to use stonewarewhich makes its products very colourful and versatile.- Similar in strength tostoneware,porcelain has a more translucent body and is naturally a blue-greywhite. Its glossiness allows the body colour of white appears pristine. Whenenhance with patterns and gold rim, it has been a collectors’ items for centuries.

Bone Chinaware- Bone China by has all the elegance of chinawith all the long-lasting toughness of. It is elegant and refined but alsotough,useable and chip-resistant. It has a body colour of light creamy and theyare translucent. Due to the strength of the material, the wares are usuallyvery thin and light which makes them a pleasure to own.

General Care- All pottery and ceramic wares can crack ifexposed to sudden changes in temperature, no matter on the oven or microwave,orexpose to direct heat sources such as the hob or grill. Pieces must not bedropped or struck against hard or sharp surfaces, or struck with hard or sharpobject.

Dishwashers- We recommend hand washing but if you prefer touse dishwashers, please use low temperature and liquid detergents for all ourtablewares and glasswares as constant dishwashing may result in discolorationofsome products. When washing by hand avoid the use of scouring pads orabrasive cleansers. Clean with a soft cloth. ? Most stains can be removed bysoaking the item in warm water before washing. Very stubborn stains can beremoved by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour.

Microwave Ovens

Storing- Even the hardest surfaces can be scratched:This canhappen to all ceramic goods including your products. So please takecare whenstacking and handling your ceramic wares as scratches can be more visibleoncoloured glazes. When storing plates, try not to slide them over oneanother,as this may cause scratches on the glaze. The surface used on tablewareishard, however the front of one plate can be scratched by the back ofanother,so care should be taken when stacking. We recommend that a paper napkinbeplaced between each plate. Cups should be stored or hung from a cup hook,notstacked, as this weakens the handles
