How to maintain the PH probe:



1, please do not use liquid PH meter inserted too deep, so long as the liquid can not be over glass electrode. Before using, pay special attention when the PH electrode retaining ring loose, if PH electrode fixing ring loose, liquid s may enter inside the instrument cause a malfunction.



2, PH composite electrode sensitive glass ball bubbles must be under humid conditions in order to maintain the activated state, and a normal test. If the PH electrode long-term dry, there will be slow response, poor accuracy is not normal. Therefore, the bottom electrode cap waterproof pen tip of PH meter PH-20W, there is a storage sponge, the user must always keep the sponge wet, when the sponge dry, add a drop PH4.00 standard buffer solution, (Do not let the solution flow), and make the electrode protective cap tight, so PH electrode in wet conditions remain activated state.





  1. PH composite electrode long unused If you have dry, before use please soak for several hours in 3.3MOL/L KCL solution, or may purchase a dedicated electrode soaking solution.





4, PH-sensitive glass electrode tip bulb, can not touch with a hard object, any breakage and hair will rub the electrode failure. Before and after measurements and electrode should be washed with pure water, in order to ensure accuracy. After measuring sticky sample, the electrodes need to use water repeatedly washed several times to remove the sticky film on the glass specimen, or first with a suitable solvent cleaning, and then water wash solvent.





instrument calibration:





  1. prepare standard solution mixed with buffer 6.86 PH or 9.18 PH, according to the ON / OF power, put the PH duplex configured electrode into the solution, then shake until PH value become stable,




  2. press CAL about 3 seconds, CAL symbol is displayed, then release th CAL, PH meter will automatically identify the standard buffer value at the current temperature, the current measured value appears for about 1S , after two seconds "SA "symbol, indicating that the calibrate results are memory, and then displays the" END "symbol indicates that the calibration has be completed, one second after return to normal measurement.





Notice:



1. If you press the CAL, a few seconds after, it displays "END" symbol, indicating that standard buffer fail or electrode aging, press any key exit, restore measurement mode. Please confirm whether the standard buffer is used or you obey electrode norm to calibrate other buffers, as above. When PH meter calibration, do not show "END" sign, do not count out from the PH standard will increase the measurement error!



2.In the non-standard calibration status, not press the CAL may cause erroneous instrument calibration, the instrument work failure or lead to measurement errors far exceeded normal buffer. Please use when PH meter calibration standard buffer and the correct method of operation, improper calibration will increase the measurement error!



3. Over range display, when the PH value is less than "0" or higher than "14" when, PH display will show: "L --" or "H ---" when the temperature is too low or too high, Temperature display will show "L" or "H"7, low voltage



4. When the battery symbol is displayed, indicating that the battery voltage is insufficient, replace the battery as soon as possible, do not mix new and old batteries.
