Borosilicate Glass is more expensive as it is more difficult and requires more energy to produce. It is more Superior as it is highly durable. It has a temperature resistance of -40 °C to 400 °C, so it can go in the freezer and can be used in the oven unlike normal glass. Borosilicate glass can also handle immediate temperature changes (thermal shock) of up to 120°C, so you can take it straight from a freezer to an oven rack without cracking.



Our rectangle borosilicate glass food containers are very safe to use for keeping food – first of all, it is lead-free, it is also chemical and acid resistant and it does not leach out any unwanted substances which contaminates. It is non-porous so it won’t absorb food odours or flavours and anti-staining.



They are suitable for any kind of food storage, be it dry or wet. Ideal for meal preparation or keeping left-over food, you can take prepared food from fridge/freezer straight to the oven (without lid, that is).
