Perfect for professional artists and coloring enthusiasts, Polychromos pencils offer exceptional performance and a stunning selection of colors. The pigmented leads are vibrant, water resistant, lightfast, and acid free. They also offer great smoothness, consistency, opacity, and blendability. The leads are thick—3.8 mm across—and SV-bonded to the wood casing for maximum break resistance. They are also color-matched to other Faber-Castell products, letting you achieve consistent colors across different media.


These pencils feature oil-based lead cores. Their wood casings were harvested from sustainably managed forests and are coated with an environmentally friendly water-based varnish.
