BIOBAY Seabuckthorn is rich in Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 which super excellent anti-inflammatory and skin regeneration effects. They also help to synthesize proteins, neurotransmitters and reduce stress.

BIOBAY Seabuckthorn also helps to alleviate symptoms in people with dry eyes, dry skin or eczema, cracked heels or vaginal dryness.

Sea buckthorn, also named as Hippophae rhamnoides L, is a member of the Elaeagnaceae family and is originated from Northern Himalayas. Research studies had shown that its leaves, roots, seeds and berries together with the oil extracted from them contain a variety of bioactive chemicals such as anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antioxidant and anti-atherosclerotic activities.

Sea buckthorn berries are in reddish-orange colour which indicates ample carotenoids inside. Besides, it is rich in omega 3,6,7,9 (linolenic acid, linoleic acid, palmitoleic acid, oleic acid). These omegas are polyunsaturated fatty acids that our body cannot produce by ourselves and need to obtain through diet or supplement. Omega 3 fatty acids can help to maintain our heart health by raising the good cholesterol (HDL) and lower down the bad cholesterol (LDL), reduce inflammation and support brain development to decrease the risk of getting dementia. While for omega 6 which is mainly present in the vegetable oil help to stimulate skin and hair growth, regulate metabolism and maintain bone health. Omega 7 is mostly found in the matrix of the skin and mucous membrane of the body. It can regulate our skin health by restoring the skin’s natural omega balance and improve the hydration of the mucous membrane in order to relieve dry eyes, mouth and vaginal dryness.
