Hydrogel
Hydrogel or thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is a type of elastomer characterized by its high flexibility and durability. We can find this "plastic" in different items such as mobile phone covers and now in screen protectors.
There are different varieties of hydrogel films, the best known are: TPU, PVC and PET. However, the TPU is the one with the best features.

Characteristics of the TPU hydrogel screen protector
