- Blue Bay Taurine Complex Cat Supplement 100g


Contain high unit taurine + 18 Essential amino acids. Highly palatable, used as a source of taurine & amino acid for cats of all ages. Recommended for use as a supplement for cats with taurine deficiency, or for the health maintenance of kittens and adult cats.

Taurine is a special amino acid that was first discovered in the bile of cattle in 1827. It is usually found in natural organisms. Scientists have discovered that taurine cannot be synthesized in cats and must be obtained from external sources. Taurine can combine with bile acid to form a complex to help digest oily foods. Taurine also help brain cells to promote the diffusion and extension of neurons, stabilize the flow of electrons in nerve cell membranes, & assist potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium. Mobilize incoming and outgoing cells to help the transmission of brain information, therefore help the generation of neural information transmission and improve the functioning of the brain.

Directions For Use
Taurine is very palatable and can be hand fed or offered with the cat’s food. For kittens under 6 months: 1 teaspoon twice daily
Adult Cats: 2 teaspoons twice daily
