DESCRIPTION
Fermented Korean Hot Pepper Paste or Gochujang is an indispensable ingredient in the Korean kitchen. Used in cooking, and as condiment (often combined with other ingredients), thick, rich gochujang adds spiciness, sweetness and umami to dishes. Combine 1 part sesame oil with 3 parts Japanese soy and 3 parts gochujang for an intense, mahogany-coloured sauce for japchae and other noodle dishes.

INGREDIENTS
- Corn starch, purified water, pepper seasonings, flour mix seasoning, rice, salt extract, soybean powder, soybean paste.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep refrigerated and below 8 Degree Celcius after opening

[EASY TOPOKKI RECIPE]
500g cylindrical rice cakes
3 cups water.
2 tablespoons gochujang (hot chili pepper paste)
1 teaspoon kochukaru (hot chili powder)
2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
2 tablespoon sugar.
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
Steps to Make It
Gather the ingredients.
Soak rice cakes (duk) for about 15 mins in cold water
In a pot, mix water with kochujang, kochukaru, garlic, sugar, and soy sauce and bring to a boil.
Add fish cakes and bring back to a boil.Add the mushrooms, cabbage, and rice cakes.
Bring up to a boil again, simmer for about 3 minutes, and then turn off the heat.
The sauce will thicken upon standing.Serve as a casual meal or a snack when drinking.Enjoy!
