Product Details:
PLASTIGAUGE is a precision clearance gauge for the measurement of clearance (separation) between fitted surfaces. It is particularly useful for measuring clearances in split bearings or in situations where a feeler gauge cannot be inserted.

Perhaps the most widely used application of Plastigauge is in the measurement of clearance in plain automotive bearings.

Plastigauge is also highly effective for measuring the clearance in large bearings which include:-
- Marine drive shaft bearings
- Turbine housing bearings
- Pump and pressure system bearings
- Shaft end-float lends itself to direct measurement by Plastigauge.

Flatness and clearance in pipe-flanges and cylinder heads are readily checked and measured with standard Plastigauge.

Plastigauge is particularly effective for the measurement of separation in moulding tools and wherever it is required to determine the separation between hidden surfaces.

PLASTIGAUGE may be used to detect high spots in cylinder heads, pipe flanges etc. It is useful in production, inspection and servicing.

- Measurements: 0.001″ to 0.007″ (0.025mm - 0.175mm)

- Measurements: 0.004″ to 0.010″ (0.100mm – 0.250mm)

3. Model: PL-C (Green)
- Measurements: 0.007″ to 0.020″ (0.175mm – 0.500mm)
- Contents: 10 gauges per pack (each 10cm in length), measurement reading cards (mm & inches) & instructions

4. Model: PL-D (Brown)
- Measurements: 0.020″ to 0.040″ (0.500mm – 1.00mm)
- Contents: 5 gauges per pack (each 10cm in length), measurement reading cards (mm & inches) & instructions

5. PL-E (Black)
- Measurements: 0.030'' - 0.070'' (0.75mm - 1.75mm)
- Contents: 5 gauges per pack (each 10cm in length), measurement reading cards (mm & inches) & instructions

6. PL-X (White)
- Measurements: 0.018mm to 0.045mm
- Contents: 10 gauges per pack (each 7.5cm in length), measurement reading cards (mm only) & instructions
