When a car is driven, the uneven road surface can cause the vehicle body to vibrate and bounce. Hydraulic shock absorbers are the most common type of shock absorber, in which fluid temporarily obstructs the flow of the shock absorber through a narrow orifice. When the vehicle is driven on improperly worn or uneven road surfaces, this type of shock absorber can dissipate the energy on the road by adjusting the flow rate.

Unlike hydraulic shock absorbers, pneumatic shock absorbers use gas instead of liquid. This type of shock absorber depends on the volume and pressure of gas, and its characteristic is that it responds quickly and can withstand slight temperature changes.

Proper maintenance of shock absorbers is important for vehicles. If the shock absorbers cannot function properly or need to be replaced, they will not be able to protect the vehicle and will weaken the support of the suspension system while driving. This could lead to the driver losing control of the vehicle and having a negative impact on the car's tires and other mechanical components.
