RIT DYE ALL PURPOSE
A tried and true classic that’s been dyeing your goods new and old for over 100 years. Rit All-Purpose Dye is here to add a bit of dazzle to natural fabrics like cotton, wool, and silk, as well as synthetics like nylon and rayon. A simple, non-toxic way to bring the color of your choice to garments, household items, and more. Whatever your purpose, all you need is a washing machine, plastic container or stainless steel sink to get started. To determine how much dye is needed, weigh the item to be dyed on a food scale or estimate the weight. As a general guideline, one liquid bottle / two powder packages dyes 1 kilogram of dry fabric. If you are trying to achieve a very bold color, then double the dye quantity.

Features
• Deliver vibrant color to almost any type of fabric or fabric blend, including cotton, linen, silk, wool, rayon, ramie or nylon. This dye can even color wood, wicker, paper and cork.
• Perfect for rejuvenating faded clothing, changing the color of apparel, shoes or accessories, coordinating home décor, hiding laundry accidents and so much more.
• Get creative and create something unique with an easy dye technique, like an ice dye, dip dyed, marbled, shibori or tie-dye pattern.
• If dyeing fabric with 35% or more polyester, acrylic or acetate, use Rit DyeMore Synthetic Fiber Dye instead.

RIT COLOR REMOVER
• Remove or reduce existing fabric color, giving you a dye-ready canvas for spectacular results and true color
• Perfect for dye projects where you want to completely change the color of the fabric or as a pre-treatment for faded, discolored and stained fabric
• Removes dye stains (washed by mistake with colored items) and food stains (such as fruit juice, ketchup and tea) from whites
• Color Remover cannot remove the pattern or print from a fabric. It also cannot remove the indigo color from jeans.
• Works best on cotton, linen, wool, rayon and ramie

Tips From Rit
• If the garment you are dyeing is white or off white, then you should be able to achieve true color.
• If the garment you are dyeing has a pattern or logo, the color you use will mix with the existing color(s) in the fabric and create new colors.
• Sun and bleach actually damage fabric, making it very difficult to dye. If you still want to try and dye a garment with bleach or sun damage, you could try using Rit Color Remover (sold separately) on the garment before dyeing. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this will work.
• For general dye projects, use the sink or bucket method.
• If you are looking to achieve as vibrant a color as possible (or dyeing nylon), use the stovetop method.
• If you want to dye large items or are looking for the easiest dye method, then use the washing machine method.
