Cooking Direction (For 1 Serving 100g)
- Cook the somen (2 bundles) in 1L boiling water and stir gently
- Cook it for about 1.5 to 2 minutes. Somen is ready when it becomes semi-translucent
- Allow the boiled somen to cool in a draining basket with running water and then wash well by rubbing the noodles.
- Drain thoroughly.

Somen are very thin noodles made of wheat flour.

Somen noodle can be serve in hot soup and also cold. Chilled somen noodle served with grated ginger, scallion and a delicious dipping sauce called Tsuyu. It is a perfect Japanese noodle recipe for hot days.
