I'm a mummy of 2 little one with allergy skin. My girl was allergy to commercial laundry detergent since young. I am lucky to get to know about soap nuts. I have been making my own laundry soap for years!

"Soap nuts are environmentally friendly alternative to chemical detergent, and are a gentle option for those with allergies to chemicals in regular detergents. They have traditionally been used as an expectorant, and in Ayurvedic medicine as a treatment for eczema and psoriasis. Soap nuts contain saponin, a natural detergent. The soap nut shell absorbs water and releases the saponins which circulate as a natural surfactant in the wash water, freeing dirt, grime, and oils from clothing."

🌱It takes only 4 easy steps for naturally clean laundry:
👉Place 5 soap nuts in a muslin bag and tie it closed.
👉Put it in with your laundry and wash as normal.
👉Remove the bag at the end of the wash and set aside to dry or do another load.
👉Re-use up to 4 times until they start to disintegrate and then they can be composted in your garden or simply add new soap nuts to the bag.

🌱Alternatively, you can prepare the detergent in liquid form :
👉Boil 10 soup nuts in 1L water for 60 mins
👉Use 100ml for each load of washing.
