茯苓与茯神的区别是什么呢？其实茯苓与茯神最大的区别就是，茯苓是一种菌类药材，一般是长在松树和松树根上的，如果这种菌类把松树根抱在里面，茯苓菌连抱着的松树根一起入药叫茯神。没有抱松树根的叫茯苓。茯苓功效偏于利水渗湿，茯神偏于安心凝神。



茯苓为多孔菌科真菌茯苓的干燥菌核。多寄生于松科植物赤松或马尾松等树根上。味甘、淡，性平。归心、脾、肾经。功能利水渗湿、健脾和中、宁心安神。适用于水肿尿少、痰饮眩悸，脾虚诸证如脾虚食少、便溏带下，以及心脾两虚见心神不安、心悸失眠等。



而茯神为孔菌科真菌茯苓菌核中间抱有松根（既“茯神木”）的白色部分。性味同茯苓，但茯苓入脾、肾之用多，而茯神则入心之用多，有宁心安神之功，专用于心神不安、健忘、惊悸、失眠等证。
